Some Facebook reviews about the GFC classes........

"I went on one of the weekend courses that Nicola runs, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The class was small and friendly, and even though I was a complete beginner, I learnt enough in that weekend that I have just completed my first project by myself! Nicola is really helpful and patient, and is really knowledgeable if you have any questions about upholstery or polishing. This course was really good value for money and I would definitely recommend it if you want to learn a new skill or just try something a wee bit different. Thank you Nicola!"

"This course was absolutely fantastic in giving you a very indepth introduction to upholstery and french polishing. The class was very small so everyone got time and attention to create beautiful pieces and everything was provided and all I had to take along was a piece of chosen fabric - this really took the pressure off getting organised for the course. Nicola was so patient and it was a very relaxed weekend… however it was extremely packed so you learn heaps and don't even notice the days going by. Well worth the £££! I was a complete beginner before this course however now feel confident to tackle some new projects alone :-) I highly recommend this weekend course! "

"This class is fabulous. Nicola is a great teacher, very patient and knowledgeable. My mum and i had a great time and will definitely be taking our learning further. Inspirational. Thanks!!"

"Had such a fun (and educational!) weekend at Nicola's French polishing and upholstery course. Learned lots of new skills and so chuffed to come away with our projects. Nicola is a fantastic teacher and lovely person. Would thoroughly recommend it xxx"

"Recently completed this weekend course with Nicola. Very enjoyable weekend with great finished products to take home. Lots of different techniques to try, will be relying on the worksheets to remember all of them! Nicola was a very patient tutor, happy to answer endless queries. Would definitely recommend."

"Just completed a weekend course in upholstery and french polishing. Can't praise Nicola enough. Really informative weekend, learnt loads of hints and Nicola was a relaxed and patient tutor! Now feel confident enough to try a few wee projects at home. Highly recommend!"
